Malwarebytes Managed Client provides active, centrally-managed anti-malware protection to Lehigh-owned faculty and staff PCs and Macs. In response to a faulty automatic update issued by the vendor on January 27, 2018, some users experienced a loss of network connectivity and it may be necessary to temporarily uninstall Malwarebytes to restore it. Follow these steps to uninstall the program.
Click the Windows Start button (lower left of screen), then the gear icon (Settings), then click Apps.
I am on Windows 10. I am unable to uninstall MBAM. I downloaded the MB Cleanup Tool, from the link mentioned.
Locate and select Malwarebytes' Managed Client in the list of applications.
Click Uninstall to begin.
Click Uninstall again when prompted to confirm the uninstall process.
Be sure to approve the uninstallation. Check your task bar for a blinking shield - you may need to click on it to bring it to the front.
Wait while the software is uninstalled.
You may or may not receive a confirmation that the software is uninstalled.
However, once the icon shown at right is removed from the notification area (lower right of screen), you can consider it uninstalled.
Reboot your computer.

hi everybody!
i use Malwarebytes 3.0 Premium, and am very happy with the product. every couple of months, however, a glitch seems to occur in their automatic updates, which causes the program to stop working properly. to fix this, their instructions are to uninstall, then reinstall a fresh copy.
however, upon trying to uninstall, i get an error message telling me that some components of Malwarebytes 3.0 have not been removed, which therefore makes the new install impossible.

when i contact the folks at Malwarebytes, they send me a temporary link to a cleaner that completely scrubs their product from my computer, so that i can do the reinstall. the problem is that it takes a couple of days to get a response from them.
does anyone know of a good, simple and thorough cleaner i could use to get rid of all traces of Malwarebytes? i am rather unsophisticated about computers, so the easier is certainly better for me.
thank you for your help!
